The bakery work we do is not the kind that sits in a display case. It is made to order, decorated in the colours and message of whoever receives it, and it almost always travels as a gift rather than as dessert. This guide covers what people order, what can be changed, and what we need to know to quote you.
The donut bouquet, the one most ordered
Mini donuts dipped in chocolate, set on sticks and arranged like a bouquet of flowers. It is our most requested piece, for a practical reason: it hands over like a bouquet, it looks like a bouquet, and you can eat it. It fits the gap where flowers would fall short and a whole cake would be too much.
It comes wrapped in your choice of paper with a ribbon, and it takes chocolate letters so a name or a date can sit among the donuts.
Bento cakes
The small cake, for one or two people, hand decorated and delivered in its box. It is the answer when the occasion calls for cake but there are not twenty people to finish one. The colour, the message written on top and the flavour are all yours to choose.
If you want a full-size celebration cake, we do that too: see artisan bakery in Medellín for the complete service.
Cocoa bombs
Filled chocolate spheres that go in the mug and break open when you pour hot milk over them. They belong to the cold months and to December, and they work well as a small gift or a stocking filler, because each one is packed separately.
What can be personalized
- The colours. Of the chocolate coating, the paper and the ribbon. This is what makes the gift match the party instead of clashing with it.
- The flavour of the coating and the filling.
- The lettering. A name, an age, a date, made in chocolate.
- The card message, written by hand.
- The packaging, depending on whether it is handed over, set on a table, or given out one by one.
How long it keeps
This is fresh product, made the same day or the day before, so it is not something to store. The donut bouquet and the bento cakes are best on the delivery day or the next, somewhere cool and out of direct sun. In Medellín the chocolate coating softens by midday if the bouquet sits near a window, and the fridge does not fix that: the fridge adds moisture and takes the shine off.
Cocoa bombs do keep longer, since they are sealed chocolate, as long as they stay somewhere cool.
Starting price and what we need to quote
Bakery prices start at $20,000 COP and rise with the size, the number of pieces and the packaging. The full range per product is on the artisan bakery page.
To quote you quickly, send us:
- What it is: bouquet, bento cake, cocoa bombs or a mix.
- For how many people, or how many pieces.
- The date and time of delivery.
- Colours, and the name or message to be written.
- Any allergy or anything it must not contain.
Delivery in Medellín and the metro area
We deliver in Medellín, Envigado, Itagüí, Sabaneta and Bello. Because it is fresh product we agree on a time and not just a day, and for office surprises we ask for the name of whoever will receive it at reception.
